Repeat Prescriptions
 Prescription Only Medicine Legislation requires that we must examine your pet regularly when they are on long term medication. This will normally be every 2 to 6 months depending on the drugs and the condition treated. This is usually a reduced price consultation and is to ensure your pet is responding well to the medication and is not developing any side effects or other conditions that might alter the current treatment.
If you wish to order a repeat prescription it is usually quicker if you phone the practice in advance so we can have your medication available for you when you come to the practice. Unfortunately all drugs are non refundable once they have left the practice. However we can dispose of any unwanted medicines free of charge, often using them on charity
cases.
Payment and Pet Insurance
Payment must be made at the time of treatment and attracts a discount of 15%, If payment is delayed this discount is lost. We accept cash and most major credit / debit cards. Cheques are acceptable if supported by a cheque guarantee card covering the full amount. Delay of payment is only permitted by prior arrangement. You may request an estimate of the likely cost of your pet’s treatment, please ask the vet in charge of your pet. If you have financial concerns about the cost of your pet's treatment please discuss this with us before we start any treatment. There may be other options available. Insurance can provide you with peace of mind against any unexpected expenses. We can provide you with information about pet insurance, please ask at reception. Insurance claims will be paid direct to the client unless otherwise discussed with the vet.
Ordering
We have stock deliveries daily. If you require us to order any special items please phone before 6 pm for next day delivery. The delivery has usually arrived by 10.30am.
Food
We can order most quality pet foods at competitive prices. Please ask us if you require a particular food. We stock most of the Hills Science Plan range as well as numerous prescription Diets.
