Charlie Westbrook-Platts BVM&S MRCVS
– Veterinary Surgeon Clinical Director
Charlie graduated from Edinburgh University in 2002 her first post was in a small animal practice in Kettering for a year. Moving back North in 2003 she spent the next 2 years in a small animal practice in Bolton. Charlie then took up a position as night Vet and spent the next 5 years in a busy out of hours Veterinary Hospital dealing with emergencies and critical cases. Returning to day shifts, Charlie spend the next 4 years in a small Animal practice in Cheshire before taking on a new venture of clinical director and purchasing Evergreen Vets in 2016. In her spare time Charlie enjoys running and playing in a North England division one Hockey team. Charlie lives with her husband Matt, their daughter Pepper. They share their home with 9 cats and 2 dalmations Lenny and Elsa.
Elaine Griffiths BVSc MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon
Elaine graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2009. She then moved to Kent to work in a busy small animal practice who also did work for the metropolitan police dog training breeding unit. In 2019 Elaine moved back north to be nearer her family to raise her two young children Emily and Lewis and joined the Evergreen team in May 2023. In her spare time Elaine enjoys riding and walking her springer spaniel Bailey.
Dr. Sian Beard BVSc MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Sian graduated in 2012 from Liverpool University. She worked in a busy practice in Southport for a year before spending 5 years at a large veterinary hospital in Cheshire dealing with a mix of routine and emergency cases. She then worked in a small animal practice in the High Peak for 3 years before joining the team at Evergreen. Sian lives with her husband, 2 young children, 2 golden retrievers and a cat. She enjoys cycling, walking in the Peak District hills with her dogs and gardening when she gets a spare moment!
Caroline Lomax RVN – Practice Manager
Caroline qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2004 working at a large referral hospital and emergency practice. Involved in the training of Veterinary Nurses she qualified as a teacher, working in the training sector and carrying out RCVS approval visits to Veterinary Practices involved in training. Caroline spent 7 years working in education teaching vocational studies to disengaged pupils whilst working as a locum Veterinary Nurse during school holidays and weekends. Joining Evergreen in 2017 as a locum Nurse and becoming Practice Manager in 2020. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, family time and days out with her Grandson and walking her dogs.
Lisa Foley RVN - Consult Nurse and Client Care
Lisa qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008 working in small animal practice and joined the team at Evergreen in 2011. She has a keen interest in nursing clinics such as nutrition, dental checks, preventative treatment and weight clinics. Lisa owns 2 small dogs Thor and Pablo when she’s not working Lisa enjoys travelling with her husband, walking her dogs and spending time with her family.
Emma Judson RVN - Head Nurse
Emma started Vet Nursing in 1993 at a large referral and A&E practice, leaving to become Head Nurse at a South Manchester practice. After having children she returned to the Veterinary Hospital working with routine cases and out of hours emegencies. Emma has an interest in surgical nursing. She enjoys a healthy lifestyle, swimming, walking, spending time with her family and is a member of a rowing club.
Victoria Andrews BSc hons AVN dip (surg) RVN - Nurse
Victoria works at the practice on a casual basis mainly covering staff holidays. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1996. She then worked as a head nurse and gained the advanced surgical diploma. Victoria then went into education, teaching on a variety of courses, including the veterinary nursing degree. Victoria has 3 children and a sprocker spaniel called Barkley. In her spare time she loves walking, playing netball and watching her 3 sons play various sports!
Jane Moriarty RVN
Jane has joined the team as an animal care assistant. She qualified as a Veterinary nurse in 2012 and has been working in practice for over 20 years. In her spare time she enjoys family time with her partner and their Jack Russell Maximus. She loves exploring the countryside, surfing the waves on her body board, swimming and baking. One of Janes ambitions was to ride a motorbike and she holds a full motorcycle licence.
Sarah Critchlow RVN
Sarah has worked in veterinary practice since 2015 and qualified as an RVN in 2020. Sarah enjoys looking after in-patients at the surgery and has a keen interest in small furies and exotics. Out of work she enjoys quality time with her own pets - family dog Lottie, rescue cat Alice and her 2 guinea pigs. She loves walking in the countryside, holidays to Greece, crafting and bounce gym classes.
Aimee Williams - Receptionist and Veterinary Hydrotherapist
Aimee is qualified in Small Animal Hydrotherapy, Advanced water treadmill, Animal care and Animal first aid. In 2015 Aimee began a career in the Hydrotherapy and small animal rehabilitation sector, initially working in the pool and eventually running the centre. In 2017 Aimee joined Evergreen working with the water treadmill offering personalised therapies for patients. Aimee runs the Evergreen Hydrotherapy alongside Ellie. Aimee also works part-time on the reception in Evergreen. In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her two Spaniels Milo and Bobby who keep her fit and active.
Lindsay Bradburn - Receptionist
Lindsay graduated in 2004 from Salford University with a degree in Psychology and Counselling. She recently moved to Poynton and started a dog walking business. Lindsay lives with her partner and 2 teenage boys and Poppy a staffordshire bull terrier. She enjoys family time, dog walking and horse riding.
